Last Night :: Every Night :: Tomorrow Night
pursuit

A huge game was played in a stadium, pitting fans against each other as the great game came closer. The stadium was covered with a roof that seemed to be retractable. Painting. I'd done an absolutely gorgeous painting of Furries; my attention is mostly drawn to the anatomy, which seems to be extremely well done. I show it to people, noting that I must've had a really good pic (someone else's) in my head when I did it. I don't consider it my own talent. I hid in a bush, surrounded by low-lying scrub. The bush had great arrow-like leaves and thin stalks, looking somewhat tropical, although the forest was a conifer forest. My pursuer was completely confident about being able to catch me, and unconcerned that I went into hiding. Aloud she noted that she had some other things to do, and then would come find me in the bushes. A girl in the distant house shouted out, "If you're in the bush, I see you!" I didn't know if she really did, but it seemed likely. I clambered out of the bush and ran. It was hard to get through the thick foliage. The pursuer noticed, but so confidant, didn't bother chasing at this point, figuring she could catch up to me later. "Now you're here," the girl called, referring to the fact I've taken to the road parallel to the house. I run along it, a gravel road well traveled and packed from a lot of traffic. The girl kept yelling about the fact I was running on the road. It's easier to run on the clear, flat road, but I know I have no chance out in the open. At a turn around, I take off into the woods again. "Now you're in the bushes," the girl called. My only hope is to get far enough into the forest to hide. Worryingly, my passage bends the bushes (mostly large horsetails), leaving a trail. It seems hard to run, like I'm pushing against a current, and I partially pull myself along by grabbing plants. The question posed before going to bed, for all the dreams to come in the week ahead, was "Why do I have panic attacks?" The stadium dream perhaps was influenced by a documentary I watched recently on the Discovery Channel about the Coliseum.
