I was in some sort of shop or something, that we owned. I was with a bunch of other women, and it seemed somehow to be a less modern world.

We were decorating the walls. No one would take my advice about how to place things, and I thought it looked painfully stupid. They didn't take into account anything about texture or symmetry. They had one massive gilt-framed picture almost touching the other wall, and a bunch of pitifully mismatched newspaper pages.

It began to snow outside, and looking out into it, I realized I hadn't planted my bulbs yet.

Rene showed up. I was very glad to see her. She said she had been in the neighborhood, which I of course scoffed at, since she lives on the other side of the country. My mum asked her, "You payed all that money for a plane ticket out here?" Rene looked somewhat embarrassed for some reason and said she had taken the bus.

I decided to take her to Subway because she had never been. I was a bit disappointed that the manager guy wasn't there because he was very nice and knew me by my sandwich. They had renamed all the breads, but they were still the same kinds. I ordered my sandwich first, and Rene ordered hers after.

Adam was in the bathroom, and I had to use it. He insisted he had to clean it. I got really hissed off, because he didn't really need to clean it, and if he wanted to, he should do it when no one else needed to use it. I told him to get out and acted the part of the Dragon Lady. Throughout the day I was very mean to him, and felt I should apologize to him, and particularly to Jess.
