Secretly, I was a dragon in human guise (not Tserisa). To keep my secret, my guardian and I moved so I could go to a new school. My teacher was an astute and kind woman. Everyone who went to this school lived inside a walled town, except for my guardian and I, who lived in a trailer just outside its gates. The teacher grew suspicious and one day found out I was a dragon. She asked if I was a girl or a boy, and asked (and attempted to find) if I had a place to put something in back there, which I did. I told her I was a male. I explained that my kind were hermaphrodites but that we chose our gender at puberty (which was sometimes regretted since it was chosen so young). I had a flashback to how I had chosen my gender. I was a young, pre-pubescent dragon,and I was being gang-raped by several stronger dragons. One was mounting me and the others were jeering and laughing. The one on top of me said, "Oh, she likes it! This one is a girl!" Even though I had female leanings, I chose (vowed?) then to be a boy, horrified by my experience and desperate to prove my rapist wrong -- that I didn't really enjoy it.
