catching parrots

ChuChu escaped from her cage and flew away. I saw that she had landed in a distant tree. The tree was full of various kinds of parrots. I had a bowl of peanuts outside. I lifted my hand with a peanut and called her. A parrot flew down to me. It seemed to be an extra-blue blue-crowned conure. It only had one eye opened and I thought something was wrong with the other. I took it inside and put it into a cage. I had a room full of various cages. The cage was small but I knew I could get it a bigger one. The cage had mostly dowel perches, so I looked inside, concerned, and saw that the cage also had a "wave" dowel perch and a plastic perch shaped like a craggy natural branch and figured that would do for now. The conure got out while I was trying to close the door, but I put it back in and found something to keep it shut with. Later I went outside to call ChuChu again. I cracked a peanut and held it up. As I was doing so I glanced back into the room full of cages and noticed ChuChu had already come home! She must've flown home on her own. I glanced back at the tree full of parrots and noticed a parrot flying towards me. It missed my arm so I picked it up and started to put it into a cage. It was a scarlet macaw.
